Fifth Visitor

Another good friend was here last week. I have known Mike Webber since he was working at Capers Corner when he was still in his teens. He wound up working at most of the independent record stores in Kansas City and Lawrence over the years. He wisely chose to get into another line of work. Today Mike owns Webber Air Cargo, a consulting firm, which takes him to airports around the globe.

Since he was here on business that kept him outside of Manhattan most of the time so we only got to spend Friday afternoon with him. He finished his luncheon speech and Q & A in lower Manhattan and took the train to our place to stow his bags and change. We had a nice long leisurely lunch at our favorite diner across the street.
